THE PUBERTY PROJECT

The Puberty Project (formerly School Health Solutions) provides comprehensive puberty and sexuality education to schools in New York City. Students learn about bodies, emotions, and relationships in an inclusive and trauma-sensitive space, and the curriculum for each grade provides opportunities for parent/caregiver engagement.

STANDARDS, GUIDELINES + PRACTICES

The Puberty Project curriculum for each grade follows the National Sex Education Standards for all content and NYC Public Schools' guidelines on gender-inclusive language and gender segregation. The Puberty Project is affirming of all genders, identities, and sexual orientations, and follows best practices in comprehensive sexuality education.
